Jarosch Bakery Phase 1

Interior Improvements

Taking the Long View

Jarosch Bakery, a full-line scratch bakery, specializing in beautifully decorated custom cakes was established in Elk Grove Village in 1959. The Owner’s & Operators, Ken & Kathy Jarosch, wanted to update their store’s look and create more opportunities for product display. DLA Architects Ltd. helped Ken & Kathy visualize the potential of their store by creating detailed interior models.

It’s all in the Timing

DLA’s charge was to create a comprehensive design that could be phased to meet their budget and schedule needs. The bakery could only be closed for two weeks a year, so the design had to be able to be constructed in stages and still have a completed, cohesive look after each phase.

Serving up Design

DLA designers put together a warm and inviting color pallet that matched Ken & Kathy’s vision. DLA’s design features new signage, custom built-in displays, LED & accent lighting, and flat screen TV’s – all designed to feature the delicious bakery goods and engage the customer.
