This year, we are thrilled to celebrate two milestones highlighting the dedication, talent, and enthusiasm of two individuals who have made a lasting impact on our firm. At a celebration luncheon, we acknowledged their individual growth and unique contributions, emphasizing how each person is integral to advancing DLA Architects’ mission and values.
Carla Gupta – 10 Years with DLA
Carla’s sense of humor and competitive spirit make her an inspiring mentor to our team and an invaluable asset during company wellness challenges. An expert in LEED documentation, Carla also plays an integral role in our Revit and Technology Committees, ensuring we stay ahead with the latest innovations.
She has been a key production architect on projects for School District U46, Kenilworth School District, Harlem School District, Schiller Park School District, and numerous others.
To commemorate her 10-year milestone with us, Carla was honored with a glass cube, a token of our deep appreciation for her service and achievements at DLA.
Ilda Shallo – 20 Years with DLA
Marking her 20th year at DLA, Ilda Shallo epitomizes what it means to be committed, hardworking, and dynamic. She is always ready to lend a hand to her DLA teammates and is known as our office expert in life safety surveys, school codes, and LEED documentation. Her colleagues often rely on her wealth of expertise. Over the past two decades, Ilda has contributed to countless projects, including recent work with the Minooka School District, Kenilworth School District, Farmington Central School District, and Kankakee School District.
Beyond her professional talents, Ilda is a true team player who brings energy to both work and play. Her passion for sports like tennis, pickleball, and soccer makes her a key part of our office’s social outings, fostering camaraderie and team spirit.
To recognize 20 years, Ilda Shallo was offered a choice of 1 week of extra PTO, a paid weekend trip valued at or below $1,500, an electronic device valued at or below $1,500, or a check for $1,000.
