The nominating committee recently selected Associate Principal and architect Brian Scully from DLA Architects to serve on the Service Associates Advisory Committee (SAAC) of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (Illinois ASBO) starting at this year’s Service Associate Annual Meeting.

Brian Scully has been active in the association for several years, attending state conferences and regional meetings. He is a frequent speaker/presenter, sharing expertise on topics like Long-Range Planning, and is very involved in the organization’s Professional Development Committees (PDCs). He is also an alum of the Illinois ASBO Leadership Institute.

The statewide association supports school business managers, providing members with professional development, networking, and various other services. The Service Associate Advisory Committee (SAAC) serves Illinois ASBO by providing input from a vendor (Service Associate) perspective and dialoging with the Board on key issues affecting vendors.
