We’re growing!

DLA Architects, Ltd. is pleased to announce the start of construction at our headquarters. It adds 2,600 SF to the size of our existing facility. This expansion positions the firm to better serve our clients while solving two challenges. First and foremost, it provides the space to grow our team. It also will provide the flexibility critical for a highly collaborative design firm.

Many of our clients face the need for spaces to work together on a project. We’re applying the same ideas that have worked well for them to our own space. The new design studio will feature room for 10 additional works stations, an additional conference room, and a privacy room.

“Adding new professionals to our team will enhance the quality of service we provide our clients,” says firm principal Lou Noto. “Our workload has steadily increased for many years. This positions us to increase our workforce, as well.”

The construction of the expansion will be phased. First will be the addition of the new workstations. Once complete, efforts will focus on a new collaboration area to house our continuing education presentations and company gatherings. The movable furniture will allow both small group work and larger gatherings. By early next year, the firm’s production capacity will expand by nearly 30%.

DLA is nationally ranked for educational architecture and is one of the Midwest’s top overall architecture design firms. Founded in 1983, the firm has a reputation for client-focused design and problem-solving. With a staff of 42 (and growing!), DLA Architects is large enough to efficiently handle multiple large projects but small enough to provide personal service.
