One of the sessions that I attended BUILDINGChicago/Greening the Heartland was Materials Matter – Innovative Design with Wood.

The speaker said something that really stayed with me:

“Wood is the Wave of the Future”

When I heard the speaker say this, I couldn’t help but think that, in the end, this is just a closed circle. The world is reevaluating wood in construction because of all its benefits that were somehow forgotten. Also, thanks to today’s technology, its a bit more feasible.

It started with wood and now, just maybe, the future belongs to wood.
