Richard and Sharon Portillo Performing Arts Center Addition at Argo Community High School has received an Outstanding Project Award for excellence in educational facility design in the fall 2018 edition of LEARNING BY DESIGN, the premier source for education design innovation and excellence.

LEARNING BY DESIGN’s distinguished fall 2018 jury of eight architects and end-user’s applauded DLA Architects, Ltd. for its accomplishment in designing the Richard and Sharon Portillo Performing Arts Center Addition at Argo Community High School. All projects included in this edition are blind peer-reviewed. The jury discusses and looks for in each project’s unique and or new concepts being implemented to improve education facility building design.
