GDUSA honors DLA Architects with Design Award

The newly redesigned DLA Architects website has received national recognition from GDUSA (Graphic Design USA magazine) in the Internet Design category.

The new website was launched this summer. One of our goals as we were redesigning it was to really highlight DLA’s personality and culture. We have a LOT of creative people at our office. We work hard, but we try to have fun with what we do. The website creatives tried to show this by featuring people, not just projects. On our home page, we show clips of our team collaborating with each other and our clients. We hope this shows how we work. We also have several pages dedicated to our design philosophy and culture. On “Our Team” we feature everyone that you’ll run into at our office. The photo shoot for this page was especially entertaining; people were given the opportunity to have fun and show their personality.

“We’re excited about the new website – we developed it top to bottom in-house. We wanted to stand out from other firms and make it about what you can expect when working with us. How do our people design and how do they innovate?”

Wendy Covich, DLA Architects Director of Marketing

“Graphic design is an important part of the firm’s architectural projects. The spaces that we create tell a story.  Whether implemented as a tool to enhance wayfinding, a learning opportunity, or a brand, graphic design reinforces the message that we are tasked to reflect, support, and inspire for the clients and communities that we serve.”

Matt Lowe, DLA Architects Director of Design
